Weather intelligence
NFI Northwood Forecast Intelligence is the weather intelligence behind the Northwood family of apps. It does not replace official weather services. It helps Northwood products explain what changing weather means for timber moisture, fire danger, field work, and everyday activity choices.
Northwood openly thanks the organisations whose weather, ocean, satellite, terrain, tide, and validation services make this work possible. Detailed source notices, licence links, and no-endorsement wording are kept on the weather attributions page so every Northwood app can point to one clear public record.

Northwood is open to discussions with forestry, farming, and field-based operations that need practical software shaped around their own work. That may mean moisture, fire, harvesting, silviculture, inspections, dispatch, or another field problem where decisions are still being made with scattered notes, delayed spreadsheets, or incomplete visibility. Northwood goes the extra mile to make apps as offline-capable as the work allows. Live weather still needs an internet connection, but field records, practical workflows, and map support should keep working as far as possible when signal drops. Where maps are needed, Northwood can support GeoPDF as an offline map layer.
